Coaching

What you'll do:

• Support coaches during sessions
• Encourage and assist younger gymnasts whilst being responsible for a single trampoline
• Learn basic coaching skills with future possible progression
• Be a positive role model

We're looking for:

• Reliable and friendly volunteers

Set up/put down of equipment

What you'll do:

• Help move and unfold trampolines safely
• Lay out and pack away safety mats
• Check everything is in the right place
• Work as part of a team to get sessions ready

What you’ll learn:

• How to handle equipment safely
• Teamwork and responsibility
• How a session is prepared behind the scenes

We’re looking for:

• Willing helpers who listen carefully
• Team players with a good attitude
• Volunteers who are reliable and on time

Supervising little ones

What you'll do:

• Look after younger members while they wait
• Keep them entertained with quiet games or chat
• Help them stay safe and follow the rules
• Make sure everyone feels included and happy

What you’ll learn:

• How to be a positive role model
• Patience and communication skills
• How to support younger children in a fun way

We’re looking for:

• Friendly, kind and responsible volunteers
• Good listeners who enjoy helping others
• Confident enough to lead small groups or activities

Spotting

What you'll do:

• Stand around the trampoline to help keep gymnasts safe
• Push side mats in when someone is bouncing
• Stay alert and ready in case of a fall
• Follow coach instructions at all times
• Help keep the area clear and safe for everyone

What you’ll learn:

• How to spot safely and correctly
• When and how to push mats in properly
• Responsibility and quick thinking
• How to support gymnasts during practice

We’re looking for:

• Focused, sensible volunteers
• Good listeners who follow safety rules
• Confident standing near trampolines during use

Aeronauts Trampoline Club ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect the personal data you provide in your volunteer application.

We collect your Full Name, Date of Birth, your selected role, session availability, and your written or video application.

2. Why do we collect this data?
We use this data solely for the purpose of assessing your suitability as a volunteer for the role you have applied for.

3. Who sees your data?
Your application data will only be accessible to the authorised members of the club's management committee responsible for volunteer selection.

4. How long do we keep your data?
If your application is successful, your data will be retained for the duration of your volunteering with us. If your application is unsuccessful, we will securely delete your personal data within 6 months of your submission.

5. Your Rights
